The Clairemont area is a community within the city limits of San Diego, California. the population is comprised mostly of middle class residents.
Clairemont High School is located five miles north of metropolitan San Diego and is one of sixteen comprehensive high schools in the San Diego City School District. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Among 1352 Students, 248 are seniors, 323 are juniors, 337 are sophomores and 438 are freshmen. Of the 87 certificated staff members (77 instructors, five counselors, one librarian, one nurse, five administrators, one resource teacher, one staff developer), approximately 63% have completed the equivalent of a Master's (M.A.) Degree or beyond.
We are a diverse campus of many different ethnic and cultural heritages.
