ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: The After School Tutoring Program will be begin the week of 10/20/08! If you are failing a class and need extra help, this program is for you! The Central Tutorial Center will be open on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:25 - 3:25 p.m. in the Library and the Central Homework Center will be open on Mondays & Wednesdays, same time (except on Early Out Wednesdays = 12:45 - 3:15 p.m.), same place. MathVision is a television broadcast produced by ITV and is a telephone mathematics homework helpline for students, teachers and parents. It combines the benefits of one-on-one phone tutoring with the ability of the televised portion to provide modeling of effective mathematics instruction.
Certificated mathematics teachers staff six toll-free tutoring phone lines on Wednesday and Thursday each week during the traditional school year from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Three additional mathematics teachers provide televised on-air instructional broadcast over cable television channels from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
MathVision offers phone-tutoring services on a no-charge basis!
