CHS ELAC 2007-2009
Ana Morales Chairperson CHS has over 250 students who are identified as English Learners (EL) according to a language assessment test called CELDT (California English Language Development Test). Federal guidelines require a school to form an ELAC when it has more than 21 EL students enrolled in a site. ELAC’s goal is to give meaningful advice to the principal, school staff, and School Site Council (SSC) about instruction and funding for EL programs. ELAC MEETINGS (2008-2009) Meetings are held in Room 202 (Career Center) from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
