PTSA meetings for the 2007-08 school year are scheduled on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the CHS Library Classroom.

Everyone is welcome!

Clairemont High School has a successful PTSA that is responsible for communicating to parents, supporting student activities and acting as a legislative liaison to the district and the state legislature. The PTSA voice is known and respected throughout the country. It is based on the belief that through volunteerism we can make a difference. Clairemont's PTSA has brought such events as the Mothers Against Drunk Drivers assembly and welcoming dances for our incoming freshman. They also provide supports and partnership with the administration and staff of Clairemont High School.

The mission of the California State PTA is to represent our members and to empower and support them with skills in advocacy, leadership, and communication to positively impact the lives of all children.

Adopted by the California State PTA Board of Managers, March 1999

Three $500 scholarships are available to Clairemont High graduating seniors. Applicant must be a member of the Clairemont High PTSA (you can still join with your $5 membership fee). Scholarships are for use at an accredited college/university, community college or trade and technical school. These scholarships will recognize citizenship and volunteer service in the school and community. Applications will be available in the counseling office.

CHS PTSA Fundraisers

The PTSA is funded mainly by eScrip and other store rebate programs. These fundraisers are FREE to you and only require a few minutes of your time to enroll.

Here's how it works: You register the appropriate card - grocery store club card or credit card, and then shop as usual. Whenever you swipe your card at participating stores, 1 to 4 percent of your purchase is donated to the Clairemont High School PTSA. Below are the rebate programs we participate in and our non-profit identification numbers. Invite your friends, co-workers and relatives to support Clairemont High - they can even be in another city or state!
