Weather Station

The weather station collects weather data such as solar radiation, wind speed, relative humidity, rainfall and temperature. This information is used to calculate the evapotranspiration (ET), which is the amount of water used by the plant material through transpiration plus the amount of water evaporated from the soil. This data is used by the central irrigation control system to calculate and update irrigation schedules. This way, the plants receive exactly the amount of water they need. This keeps our plants healthy while reducing water waste.
