This is a list to encourage young people of extraordinary promise to grow intellectually by reading good books.  Use this list as a starting point in developing your own personal reading list.  Ask your parents, older family member, teachers, and librarians to direct you to books related to your interests and concerns.  Talking with friends and family about books that excite you will encourage introspection and reflection as well as stimulate curiosity about the larger worlds around you.
