FFC Information

Welcome to Dingeman's 2006-2007
FFC Volunteer Committees

(Last revised on 08/30/2006 )

This is an outline of the Volunteer Committees here at Dingeman Elementary.   Dingeman depends on the many parent volunteers who help the school to run so smoothly.  Volunteers are a vital part of the Dingeman Family!  There are many ways and opportunities for becoming involved in your school.  The FFC is looking for people who are interested in the following committees (or co-chair) or a committee member.  If you would like to help in any one of the committees listed below contact the FFC president Colleen Ambrose. We are looking forward to another great year.

The chairperson for each of these committees is appointed.  Each committee has one vote on the FFC Board, and the chairperson is asked to attend the monthly FFC Board meetings.

Family Information Packets (FIP)

All communications from the school to parents are sent home with the students (the youngest child attending Dingeman per family) once a week on Tuesdays.  The volunteers meet on Tuesday mornings in the staff lounge immediately after school begins, 9:05 AM to collate, staple, and group the handouts for all classes.  The committee would like volunteers to commit to helping at least two Tuesdays a month, but any help is welcome.  With enough volunteers working together,  the process should be complete in an hour but the time will vary based on the amount of information being sent home.
