WELCOME LETTER

Dear Parents,                                                    September 7, 2004

Welcome to Dingeman Elementary School!  I am delighted to be a part of this excellent staff and am looking forward to working with you and your child this coming year.  This is an informational letter about me to help you get acquainted with me.

My name is Ashley Grobosky (formerly known as Miss Herold).  I grew up in Bethesda, Maryland.  I graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans with a B.A. in History.  I moved to California 8 years ago.  My teaching credentials include a professional clear multiple Education with an emphasis in Cross Cultural Teaching and a specialization in Linguistic Studies.  I also have my GATE certification.  I taught at Nye Elementary for 4 years.  I joined the fourth grade team at Dingeman last year.

My favorite pastimes are reading, swimming, shopping, hanging out with my friends, and playing with my dogs.  I love animals.  We have 2 guinea pigs, Harley and Davidson, as our classroom pets this year.

If you have any questions or comments about the school year, please feel free to send me a note, contact me through the school office (549-4437) to schedule an appointment or email me at aherold@mail.sandi.net or agrobosky@yahoo.com.  Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation.  I look forward to meeting you at Back-to-School Night on Thursday, September 23, 2004 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Sincerely,

Ashley Grobosky
