Parents and Students Web Responsibility Contract:

It is important that you read the follow carefully before signing this document.  The Dingeman Web site is available to all on the World-Wide-Wed, (WWW) at www.dingeman.net.  Since this site can be accessed anywhere in the world it is important that Dingeman Elementary School takes several steps in safe guarding your student on the school site.  The WWW will have access to:

  1. May contain information about your student´s schoolwork
  2. May display their pictures.
  3. May display a general classroom picture.

Your child's teacher will monitor all content published about your child's schoolwork.  In doing so and for the SECURITY of our children and to ensure privacy for parents:

  • Names of children will NOT be published next to pictures.
  • Up and coming field trips dates will NOT be publish.
  • Full names will NOT be published. The use of first names will be printed unless an alias is given. Example, consider substituting a code names for the child's actual names. Example a.k.a. Snoopy
  • Image files will NOT be named with the children's names (the file name is visible when the cursor hovers over the image).
  • Parent´s names will NOT be publish without prior written approval from them. (Written approval will be kept with the teacher's "network use guidelines" approval forms.)

Student can and will publish his or her own school projects to the Web site with teacher´s discretion.  In doing so students must follow the guidelines laid out in the Network Use Guidelines.
