DWA-Human Resources Goals

The Human Resources portion of the DWA project is driven by the following vision to attain the goals and objectives listed below.

Vision

Support the SDCS Mission and be the school district of choice by providing superior education opportunities through recruiting, hiring and retaining the best teachers, administrators and staff personnel.

Goals

• Maximize the efficiencies of administration by improving the way business is conducted
• Provide dependable, efficient, cost effective information to support data-driven decisions
• Hire and retain the best teachers, administrators and support staff

Objectives

• Implement a state of the art, Tier 1, HRMS (Human Resources Management System) that will integrate all modules for Position Control, Personnel Administration, Benefits, Payroll and Timekeeping Collection
• Provide electronic workflow
• Deploy self-service applications via the Web
