Home

Located near San Diego State University, the Language Academy is a multi-cultural school which emphasizes the importance of fluency in multiple languages. This represents a choice for families who feel that learning a second language is a vital element of today's education. This K to 8 campus has a French immersion and a Spanish/English immersion program. The focus is on making the students fully bilingual and biliterate in at least two languages by the end of the eighth grade.

Summer Activities
The Parent Outreach and Engagement Department at San Diego Unified
has collected a variety of summer activities for students in grades K-12 to beat the heat and keep busy and learning all summer long. Starting June 10, 2009, activities can be found at www.sandi.net/ParentELearning. Families can visit the web all summer for find new activities posted weekly.
