- Children's Program for
Academic Enrichment
-
- One school practice that encourages and enables parents to
participate in school events is providing quality childcare. If
childcare is not offered, a parents ability to participate
at school events is often restricted. This may result in the
families who need assistance the most not being able to receive
it. Therefore, we developed The Childrens Program for
Academic Enrichment, an academically structured enriching
childcare program, which has proven to be an important recruitment
strategy to attract families.
-
- Children deserve a childcare program filled with engaging and
developmentally appropriate activities. The Childrens
Program for Academic Enrichment is a perfect setting for
exposing children to a variety of language arts activities
designed to build literacy skills. Learning through singing,
music, dance, storytelling, and reading aloud engages the children
and motivates them to stay interested and involved. The childcare
staff runs the developmentally structured childcare program,
signing in children as families arrive, and identifying children
with special needs. A healthy snack and juice are provided for
each child.
- Supervision is: 1 adult to 4 children ages 4 years or younger,
1 adult to 10 children ages 5 years and older.
