Parent Involvement Task Force

The Parent Involvement Task Force is a group of dedicated parents, community members, and educators who ensure that parents are recognized as genuine partners in the education of their children and are provided with a variety of opportunities at school and district level to fully participate in their children's education.

The functions of the Parent Involvement Task Force are to:

  • Promote district practices, programs, and activities that enable parents to fully participate in their children's education;
  • Oversee the implementation of the district's Parent Involvement Policy;
  • Serve as a forum for discussion of district, state, and national parent involvement issues;
  • Provide guidance and information to the district regarding parent involvement issues;
  • Serve as the advisory group to the district's Parent Involvement Department.
