Ellen Browning Scripps Elementary
Ellen Browning Scripps Elementary School (a.k.a. Dingeman/Jerabek/Miramar Ranch Area)

School opened: In September 2001, E.B. Scripps Elementary opened as a temporary/modular school to ease overcrowding until the Marshall Middle School site becomes in September 2008.
Principal: Deidre Hardson
Location: Scripps Ranch. The temporary E.B. Scripps Elementary is located at 10380 Spring Canyon Road. The future E.B. Scripps Elementary will be located at 11778 Cypress Canyon Road.
Purpose: E.B. Scripps Elementary will ease overcrowding at Dingeman Elementary, Jerabek Elementary and Miramar Ranch Elementary.
New school size: The new school, once converted, will accommodate 800 students in grades K-5 on 5.9 acres.
Acquisition and relocation: Not required.
Name of new school: The school is named for the well-known philanthropist who established numerous health, education and cultural institutions throughout California.
