This year the 8th grade students in Middle School Algebra competed in a state-wide internet based math competition, First in Math. 

Ms. Douglas's classes came in second and third in the State of California!  On Thursday, May 25, a representative from First in Math came to our school to present medals to the top performing students in those classes. 

In addition, Wangenheim also recently competed in the 24 Game Regional Challenge.  The top performing students received certificates and the top three finishers in each grade level also received medals.
