About Me
By profession I was an English teacher. I have a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) from Cambridge University and for 25 years I taught EFL (English as a Foreign Language) to adults in Geneva, Switzerland.
No, I am neither Swiss nor English. I was born in Boston, and although I worked in Geneva from 1981 to July 2006, my husband and I have now moved to San Diego where our daughter lives.
In addition to my CELTA certificate, I have a BA in French from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts, and an MA in French from Columbia University in New York City. In fact, before I was an English teacher, I taught French.
I took up web design on my own in 2003 (Wangenheim was my first website.) and book design in 2005.
Now that I have retired from teaching, I am working full-time as a webmaster for a dozen or so websites. In addition, I also do the layout for a monthly newspaper in Del Mar, The Sandpiper.
My hobby is photography. |
